registration now open!

Join us for the DLI DNA Summit, held in Pompano Beach, Florida. Open to law enforcement and investigators, forensic laboratories, government agencies, legal professionals, and victim advocates.

Great science is only part of solving today’s most complex investigations. Real progress happens when advocates, laboratories, investigators, government partners, and legal professionals work together. When the system aligns, justice moves faster.

The fourth annual DLI DNA Summit brings these disciplines together to explore the technologies, strategies, and partnerships shaping the future of forensic investigations. Through case studies, expert panels, and interactive discussions, you’ll discover emerging DNA technologies, strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration, and gain practical strategies you can bring back to your organization.

Attendees will learn more about:

  • DNA technologies: Discover the latest advances in cutting edge DNA testing technologies and analysis.
  • Legal landscape: Get updates on the evolving legal environment surrounding forensic DNA.
  • Cross-disciplinary alignment: Strengthen communication with your forensic partners through sessions designed to help every stakeholder speak a common language and work toward shared goals.
  • Case reviews: Learn from successful investigations where coordinated efforts between public and private laboratories, investigators, attorneys, and partner agencies helped solve complex cases.

More than just a series of presentations, the DLI DNA Summit is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships, align people, processes, and technology, and build the relationships that help solve more cases. Join us to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and discover how greater alignment leads to better investigative outcomes and stronger support for the communities we serve.

Share your expertise. Shape the future of forensic collaboration.

The DLI DNA Summit is seeking engaging presentations that inspire collaboration, spark discussion, and provide practical takeaways for professionals across the forensic community.

Our 2027 theme, ALIGN, recognizes that the strongest investigations happen when advocates, laboratories, investigators, government agencies, and legal professionals work together. We’re looking for presentations that showcase innovation, encourage cross-disciplinary understanding, and help attendees return to their organizations with new ideas they can immediately put into practice.

Whether you’re sharing a groundbreaking case, a new technology, lessons learned, or a unique perspective, we encourage submissions from professionals across the forensic and criminal justice communities.

We’re interested in presentations on subjects including, but not limited to:

  • Forensic DNA technologies and emerging scientific advances
  • Laboratory operations, quality, and workflow improvements
  • Cross-disciplinary collaboration and communication
  • Legal updates, courtroom experiences, and case law
  • Investigative strategies and multidisciplinary approaches
  • Lessons learned from complex or high-profile cases
  • Cold case investigations
  • Leadership, change management, and building collaborative forensic teams
  • Ethical considerations and emerging challenges in forensic science

Have an idea that doesn’t fit neatly into one of these categories? We’d still love to hear it.

We welcome submissions from both experienced speakers and first-time presenters. Our goal is to build a program that reflects the breadth of expertise across the forensic community and creates meaningful conversations that continue long after the conference ends.
